WHAT? 1250 GEMS? It’s a scam I tell you. They WERE on Play Wild! for 750 gems or so, but they’ve been cleared away for now. i sold mine. It didn’t fit my colour scheme. Oops.

Nicknames: Narwhale, Unicorn of the Sea

Scientific Name: Monodon monoceros

Conservation Status: Near Threatened

Habitat: Arctic waters around Greenland, Canada and Russia

Diet: Fish, such as flatfish, Arctic cod, polar cod, Greenland halibut

Fun Facts:

  • Their horn / tusk is a long protruding canine tooth
    • Their left upper canine tooth
  • They communicate via clicks, whistles and knocks
  • They can live up to 50 years
  • They often die due to starvation or suffocation
  • They are also being hunted for meat and ivory
  • Some narwhals can develop two tusks instead of one
  • They often stay in groups, around five to ten, but as seasons change, the group can grow as large as twenty members
