Hello Jammers! I no longer update this blog, but as I have a number of screenshots from the past year, I will be slowly adding them into the blog. I currently got everything from February 2022 – March 2022 that I did not upload yet into the blog. Though March is almost over, you might find these additions helpful.

Hello everyone! I know it’s been a while since my last post, it’s crazy that it’s been a while back. I kept putting this off, thinking I’d do it in the new year, but that came and left, and now we’re in February…
There’s no reason for me to keep putting this off.
I think it’s obvious by my static silence, but unfortunately, we’ve come to the end of the road for The Ultimate Animal Jam Blog.
I’ve always had other passions, other enjoyment, but as I increasingly got busier in life, I had to make choices and sacrifices to which I want to continue pursuing, and which had to fall short as a result.
My choice to drop blogging was evident. I was quickly losing interest in Animal Jam, having played for over ten years and the content becoming stale. I could not run the game easily either on my laptop, as it puts too much of a strain on it.
Initially I stopped posting due to being busy. I couldn’t log in, or I forgot due to being wrapped up in work, but eventually I stopped regularly posting that it quickly integrated into my daily life, that it became a new normal, not to think about the game, or the blog.
It’s a bit heartbreaking at first, that I would quit something I built since 2013, but once I stopped, it felt like there was a relief that I could pursue my other passions more in depth.
Thank you everyone for staying with the blog so far. Everyone’s supports, comments, they all mean a lot to me who only blogged for fun and tried to bridge a connection with the community.
I may come back in the future, posting a thing or two, if I see interest of something happening in the game, like their anniversary, or if I pop back in for a quick visit.
I’ll try my best to hang around the blogging community – IRL has taken away time from leisure browsing – but until then, I hope everyone has a great year ahead.

World Rhino Day is around the corner! Sadly, AJHQ provides no dates, but it is on 22 September every year – so that’s today! Get a Rhino or a Pet Rhino for a discounted price!

Hey Jammers! Sorry for the late post, I sort of blanked out and fell into a rabbit hole of HTML, but I’m here now! Sorry about that!
The Direwolf and Pet Direwolf are back in Jamaa once more!
I happened to log in at the right time and caught the party!
I entered it and there was… no one. I should have scrambled to the top to instantly just take a celebratory picture but I stood around waiting for people to come…
It didn’t take so long this year, only about a minute or two.

Anyway, somewhat disappointed that the cake has to be purchased for a pretty steep price. It looks disappointing so far, so let’s see what can expand out of it.
So yeah… pretty lame I guess. I don’t mind it too much, but in comparison with older cakes, this one feels very standard and not at all AJ-esque.
It doesn’t really grow either. Starting from the bottom left candle, trace the shape of the cake to launch the candles into the air. Repeat on the right side, starting with the bottom rightmost candle.
Yeah… it’s lame. A lot of needless clicking too.
Once you clear all the candles, two additional candles will appear with some confetti. Clicking the base of the “1” candle will have them zoom away and reset the cake.

Hey Jammers! It has certainly been a while, huh?
I do apologise for my absence. I know I promised that I would return in July, but I was extremely swamped by then. My schedule started clearing out in August, but after not posting for so long, it felt so foreign to log in.
Finally, I logged in, but I was horrified at the effects of Animal Jam on my laptop. Has it always been that way? My laptop fan went crazy, and though it was charging, it went from 12% > 9%. It’s a bit concerning, so um yeah… Doubt I’ll play this game for longer periods.
I haven’t logged into Play Wild! either and have decided that I no longer want to update the app and log in, so my updates from here on will only concern Animal Jam and / or Daily Explorer entries.
Anyway, now that I’m here, let’s check the newest update on the game!
With a new month that will soon bring autumn, a new bundle has appeared! The Autumn Sapphire Bundle contains a Falcon, Pet Tarantula, the den Liza’s Garden (which is one of my favourite dens), and two new armours – the Sapphire Phoenix Armor and the Autumn Breeze Armor! I assume the blue phoenix is the sapphire set? It looks pretty neat.
With the coming of autumn, the Autumn Coyote has returned!
Oh? Did they add more new items into the spin pool? Or is this to reiterate the past update? Well, I hope it’s the former! More new items into the pool the better!
Anyway, the Pet Snail has also returned!
Oh yea! Looks like Animal Jam’s birthday month is here! Happy twelfth! It’s been crazy huh, and it looks like I only lasted for 11.5 years before no longer wanting to stay and play, but I will try to catch this party because I want to eat cake.
…Speaking of cake… there’s no new code for a cake?
Additionally, a delightful return is of the Autumn Small House. I have several but I tend to purchase a few more when it returns… Why not, you know?
Lastly, the fall Eggstravaganza Pets has returned alongside the Mushroom Hut.
I still have a lot to do around this blog, like updating past entries I have screenshots for but haven’t posted, but my energy and motivation has been a bit all over the place and I haven’t been much productive, so I hope I can put it to some good use on this blog!

Hello everyone! Rainbow here!
I think my long absence warrants and explanation as I’ve put it off for too long.
Simply put, I have lost interest in Animal Jam / Play Wild.
I haven’t been logging in, I haven’t been keeping up with the news – after eleven and a half years of the game, I have officially grown bored, and sick, and tired of it.
I’m not sure why I suddenly lost all interest like that. I was busy in April / May and couldn’t focus on blogging, but when I was no longer busy, I tried logging in, continue my daily routine, but I noticed I was missing more and more days.
I think it became apparent to me, I no longer have passion to invest so much time into Animal Jam. That is the unfortunate truth I still can’t come to terms with.
Being here since the first year, I want to see this game grow, I want to wander around Jamaa, I want to do things, but even with a membership, I found the game lacklustre, and I simply could no longer integrate.
Maybe some people can argue this is a part of growing up.
Yes, and no. For a while, I found that the game has been lacking, but I kept going, I kept logging in, more for my blog than the game, but suddenly, because I couldn’t log in, I couldn’t blog.
Admittedly, I’ve seen Animal Jam as a part of my mundane daily routine for years now, I don’t believe it’s because I grew too old for the game (mind you, I am no longer the target audience for the game for years now), but there’s something, just something… and I’m not sure what.
I’ve turned focus to drawing a lot lately, which I’m pretty happy about, so maybe it’s more so a matter of using that energy somewhere.
I have been blogging for a very long time, keeping up with updates, coming up with lore… I’ve been blogging since 2013.
I have qualms about closing this site for good, in a sense making it dead and obsolete, and I don’t want that.
Going forwards, I will be only posting Jamaa Journal updates, or any notable updates on the Daily Explorer (I haven’t been there in a while).
I do have older screenshots of past updates I just never got the time to post, so I will be backtracking and updating them onto the site and noting them under the date of the update, even if they are obsolete now.
I will resume posting in July. Until then, my posts will be spotty, and I will resume a consistent Wednesday / Thursday schedule or every Thursday update schedule depending on how Play Wild! goes for me – usually I don’t receive update patches until Thursday or even Friday.
During my sudden hiatus, my site has experienced its ninth anniversary, and I am sad to say I have missed it – I don’t even know when the date was.
I cannot thank everyone enough for the support of my blog, the views, the visits, that you rely on my posts to forge ahead in Jamaa, even now during my drought of content.
I had enjoyed my time blogging daily, but right now, I am simply incapable of blogging daily anymore.
Should this change in the future, I will make another update post.
This is not goodbye, this is a new chapter for The Ultimate Animal Jam Blog, which is, admittedly, not a direction I want to go, but unfortunately, sometimes reality do not offer the optimal options, and this is the path I feel would benefit me the most.
I will resume posting Jamaa Journal updates in July – thank you for the support, and I hope you all continue to do so with this decision.
Hey Jammers! I don’t know what happened with today’s screenshot! Admittedly I’m writing this almost a year after I took these screenshots, but uh, this is a very weird batch of screenshots because I think I am missing a number of items, but who knows?? I’ll try to make due with what I have.
More prank items are here! They are the Broccoli Tree, Potato Sofa, Giant Chattering Teeth and the Carrot Stick Fence. Honestly, more vegetable furniture would be cute year round.

Hey Jammers! It’s the start of the week again! We’re almost at the end of the month!
The Giant Housefly and the Giant Cockroach are back! Again, I know Animal Jam is a kids’ game, but I wished that these weren’t items because I know so many people squeamish with bugs. Actually, I wonder if these cartoon versions are okay for them? I knew someone who was afraid of cartoon spiders too.
Anyway, the Yeti Chair is leaving in ten days!
The Rare Giant Fool’s Hat is one step ahead in festivities! The colours are nice for a jester / fool vibe, so no complaints about it. I just hate how larger items get cropped off in the previews, like please, let me preview the item in full…
